A noite foi especial para os fãs e uma das premiações mais importantes da televisão americana foi repleta de surpresas. Na cerimônia de premiação do 63º Emmy Awards, comandada brilhantemente pela atriz Jane Lynch.
Aa série “Modern Family” foi a grande vencedora da noite, faturando nada menos que 5 categorias, incluindo a categoria Melhor Série de Comédia e desbancando séries antes consideradas favoritas como “Glee”, “30 Rock” e “The Big Bang Theory”.
Quem também se deu bem na categoria drama foi “Mad Men”, a grande vencedora do prêmio Melhor Série de Drama.

As duas séries com o maior número de indicações, no entanto, foram: “Mildred Pierce” (HBO) com 21 indicações e “Mad Men” (AMC), com 19.

Com impressivas 24 nomeações, a minissérie “The Pacifc” foi a líder dos anunciados hoje. Depois dela, temos a série “Glee” com 19 indicações, “Mad Men”com 17, e “Temple Grandin”, “30 Rock” e “You Don’t Know Jack”com 15 cada.
“Modern Family” também chamou a atenção com 14 nomeações. Concorrendo pela última vez, “Lost” não decepcionou e vai concorrer a 12 estatuetas, o mesmo não aconteceu com “24 Horas”.
